Street Dance

Open Street

Street Dance classes to bang up-to-date tunes. Participants will be taught a mixture of styles of street dance through technique and set choreography. Open street also provides participants with the opportunity to create and explore the different styles of street through tasks and group work.

Flagship Street

Rubicon’s Flagship Street Dance Group are one of Rubicon’s five performance-focussed groups working towards high profile local and national performances throughout the year. Entrance to the group is by annual audition and the programme runs from September to July. Previous dance experience is not essential, but a desire to dance and a commitment to classes, rehearsals and performances are paramount.

Rubicon’s Flagship Street Dance Group explore different street dance styles and techniques and work collaboratively to fuse these styles to make energetic and thought provoking pieces.

Rubicon has weekly ballet classes for children and young people from 5 to 13+ years. No previous ballet experience needed, just come along and have fun.
Bharata Natyam

One of Cardiff's longest running classical Indian dance classes for young people. Suitable for children and young people aged 8+.
Contemporary Dance

Weekly sessions at Nora Street in contemporary dance for young people aged 11+. Come and open up your dance world!
GCSE Dance

Our GCSE in Dance aims to broaden students' knowledge of dance through technical and creative practical tasks, as well as the study of professional choreographic work.
