Entry requirements

Course admission is subject to audition for which there is a £20 fee.

Candidates do not need to prepare dance material for the audition, which is held in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Potential is as important to us as formal dance training and we are looking for learners who will apply themselves and are willing to work hard. As part of the audition, you will participate in an icebreaker movement session followed by a contemporary class, finishing with a creative session. Each candidate will then have a short interview.

We recommend that you wear comfortable dance clothing and tie hair back from the face. You will be working mostly in barefoot. Please bring a plastic water bottle with you.

You will need 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English, Mathematics and ideally Science. However, in some circumstances and for exceptionally talented dancers we may consider those who do not quite meet this requirement. We also require two references, one of which should be academic.

Course fee per year

Course Fee: £0.00

N.B. There is however an annual enrichment cost per learner towards field trips, performances and guest professional workshops.
