Rubicon Dance

Rubicon Dance are raising money for a new building in Adamsdown, and I have decided to help (and roped in a few of my friends!).

This is going to be a brilliant centre with three new dance studios, an archive of community dance and a state of the art performance space. Their venture will breathe new life into Roath Library, which currently sits unused, and provide us all with much needed opportunities for art and culture in the Adamsdown area.

I have been involved with Rubicon since I can remember. My mother signed me up to Rubicon classes when I was little and since then my own two children have taken part in Rubicon’s ballet, street and contemporary sessions! Since retiring I have started to dance again, this time with the Whitchurch over 50’s group. I cannot thank Rubicon enough for the lifelong friends, support and skills that I have gained through dancing with an organisation that truly cares for its community.

Please help us by donating to my fun little idea: Jiving around the Bay might take us all day!
