Perceptions 2022 at the Dolman, Newport was a success! All our graduates this year are excited to start on a new journey of discovery and many of the Rubicon alumni are already studying at conservatoires around the UK. These young dancers are the future for dance.

THE BOP JAZZ SUMMER RESIDENCY 2022

The BOP Jazz Intensive Program is suitable for dance students and graduates, advanced and professional dancers and teachers, with a concise understanding of dance technique. The BOP Jazz Residency is aimed to inspire, yet challenge. “Come As You Are” is the BOP Mantra, allowing everyone to develop and achieve their own potential as jazz dance performers.

Following a successful first course in July 2021 Coleg Sir Gâr, Rubicon Dance and Wales Wide Training Programme are running a second short course in Arts and Health Awareness which is online and free to those who are eligible for PLA funding (Personal Learning Account) through Welsh Assembly Government.

The Wales Wide Training Programme (WWTP) aims to inspire and sustain community dance in Wales by providing training in a strategic way, responsive to sector needs. WWTP responds to sector needs and is primarily a training programme for those working in dance across Wales.
