Cardiff East Rotary Club have been supporting and raising money for Rubicon Dance since 2017. In that time our contact Paul Gregory has worked with Tracey Brown to support Rubicon's sessions in the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales.

"Rotary clubs carry out a range of different activities and support projects within local communities, with the aim of helping improve the quality of life".
- Paul Gregory, Rotary Cardiff East Community Leader

Tracey was initially invited to talk about Rubicon's work in the children's hospital at a weekly meeting of members of the Cardiff East Rotary Club where a donation of £100 was made to Rubicon. Since then Paul has donated to the programme several times and in 2018 at an annual garden party for Rotarians, Rubicon was one of two adopted charities of the year and another kind donation of £125 was made!

In 2018 Paul visited the children's hospital so he could see some of the Rubicon dance and movement sessions for himself across the various wards. Since then Rubicon has been fortunate enough to have had regular donations from Cardiff East Rotary Club of which we are incredibly grateful.

In 2019 Paul supported some of the Rubicon team and young dancers in a fundraising bagpack at Sainsburys' in Colchester Avenue and helped up raise almost £600 for our children's hospital programme.

More recently Paul kindly donated to the Rubicon team's fundraising sponsored walk where our target was £500 and we raised almost £2,000!!!

We really appreciate the ongoing support of Cardiff East Rotary Club and the regular donations make such a difference to our work.

Thank you to Paul Gregory and all at Cardiff East Rotary Club.
