“50 people donating £50 to celebrate 50 years of Rubicon Dance!”
As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Rubicon Dance in 2026, we know that thousands of people hold cherished memories and meaningful experiences from their time dancing with us. The countless written and filmed messages we’ve already received to mark this special year have shown just how deeply Rubicon has touched people’s lives—locally, across Wales, throughout the UK, and even internationally.
As part of our milestone celebrations, we’re launching a simple but important campaign:
“50 people donating £50 to celebrate 50 years of Rubicon Dance!"
Reaching this target would raise £2,500 to help sustain and grow our work.
We are so grateful for those who already support us by donating through our website, setting up a direct debit, or giving in person by cash or card. As a registered charity, we are truly grateful for every single contribution—whether it’s £5 or £50. However, like many charities, Rubicon relies on the on-going generosity of funders and donors who believe the same as us:
Dance is an incredibly powerful and life-affirming activity which has the capacity to create joy and build connections between people and communities, as well as providing invaluable exercise for all.
Each £50 donation will help us continue the work we’ve been proud to do since 1976 in Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, Newport, and across Wales.
