Rubicon is the community dance development organisation for Cardiff and Newport, providing dance activities for people of all ages and abilities in a variety of community settings across both cities and at our centre in Adamsdown.

Children and Young People's Classes are for Toddlers to 21 years
Adult classes are for 16 years and upwards

Training opportunities include:
- One Year Full-time Preliminary Dance Training Course for 16 years plus
- Young Dancer Programme for 14 - 18 year olds
- A Volunteer Scheme
- Community Dance Apprentice Training

Attendance figures for 2007/08
During the year Rubicon gave 4,904 sessions with 81,965 attendances, 45 performances/special events with 6,386 attendances making a total of 4,949 activities/events with total attendances of 88,328 These are our highes ever figures. On average Rubicon provided just over 13 sessions and 242 attandances for every day of the year.

Auditions for the 1 Year Full Time Preliminary Dance Training Course will be held on Friday June 20th at Rubicon. For further details, and to reserve a place, please contact Adam or Lee on 02920 491477.

Please contact us regarding Saturday Masterclasses - African Drumming and Cheerleading, for Young Dancers. These will take place during April / May 2008.

Pineapple Performing Arts School / Rubicon Summer Week in Musical Theatre & Street Dance (14-18 years)

July 21st - 25th. Entry by audition only - call Rubicon for information. Cost £150.00 / special rate for Rubicon Young Dancers - £120.00.
